Former UFC fighter Mike Perry has a reputation for throwing hands outside the octagon just as efficiently as he does it on the inside.
You may have seen more evidence of that during the cage-side brawl against Julian Lane while attending the BKFC event.
However, the 31-year-old was involved in more controversy in Moscow this week. As soon as he felt that he was being jumped by the Russian MMA fighters, he got engaged in a brawl.
Perry is supposed to be cornering his teammate Alex Nicholson, who is set to mark his in-cage return at Ren TV Fight Club this weekend. Perry is going into this event on the back of a Bare Knuckle FC win over Michael Venom Page earlier this year.
After the American and middleweight Magomed Ismailov were involved in a brawl on stage, Perry came live on his Instagram account to tell his side of the story.

âI almost got jumped in there but luckily people broke it up,â Perry said.
âIn Russia, if you call someone a âmother f–,â they think you talking about someoneâs mom, so then the whole team cominâ to get you.
âBut in America when you say âmother f–,â itâs like normal words, mother f—. Itâs normal, man, Iâm not talking about your mama. Chill bro, one on one.â
It remains to be seen whether âPlatinumâ will still be alongside Nicholson at the upcoming fight.
