WATCH: Mousasi’s Dominant Win Over MacDonald At Bellator 206

It was considered a true superfight for Bellator at the time. Rory MacDonald looked to become a two-division champion when the then-Bellator Welterweight Champion faced Gegard Mousasi for the latter’s Middleweight Title. It ended up being Mousasi’s time to shine, as he would not let Rory breath for two rounds. He ended up winning the fight via TKO.

Prior to Mousasi (46-7-2) facing another Welterweight Champion in Douglas Lima for the vacant Middleweight Title at Bellator 242, check out the above throwback from Bellator 206.

Bellator 242 takes place on May 9 from inside the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The main event will be Ryan Bader defending his Light Heavyweight Title against Vadim Nemkov.
