WATCH: Novitzky on Jones’ UFC 235 Turinabol Tests

Jon Jones tested positive for trace amounts of Turinabol yet again, it was announced earlier this week, testing positive for 40 and 20 picograms of the metabolite.

The tests were conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, USADA and VADA on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15. Jones, however, did test negative in tests that conducted on Feb. 1, Feb. 9 and Feb. 18.

Dr. Daniel Eichner, President and Laboratory Director of SMRTL stated, however, he found no evidence the drug was re-administered and there was nothing to present Jones having an unfair advantage of challenger Anthony Smith at UFC 235.

During UFC 235 fight week, Jeff Novitzky, the UFC’s president of Athlete Health and Performance, discussed what this round of testing means for Jones.
