WATCH: President Trump Hypes Up Colby Covington’s Next UFC Fight

President of the United States, Donald Trump, has major praise for Colby Covington.

It’s no secret that Covington supports the MAGA movement. He has heavily been in favor of Trump as POTUS and has been using his political views to get under the skin of his rivals. Recently Trump held a rally in Nevada. UFC President Dana White, Henry Cejudo, Justin Gaethje, and Covington were in attendance.

In a post on Covington’s Twitter account, “Chaos” was seen with Trump, who gave him quite the endorsement (via

“I’m gonna be watching Colby, I’m a big fan of Colby, he’s a winner and he’s a champ. It’s gonna be a great evening, a great fight, and I just wish him the best of luck. I’ve seen him a lot and he is tough – good luck champ.”

Covington is scheduled to collide with former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley on Saturday, September 19. The two were once training partners at American Top Team. Things turned sour when Covington hurled insults Woodley’s way over splitting his time with Roufusport.

The two were initially set to fight in September 2018 when Covington held the interim UFC Welterweight Championship. Covington opted to undergo nasal surgery, leaving the door open for Darren Till to receive a title shot against Woodley. Till ended up being submitted by Woodley in the second round.

Covington is hoping to rebound following a TKO loss to Kamaru Usman back December 14, 2019. “Chaos” had been riding a seven-fight winning streak. As for Woodley, he’ll be looking to avoid his third loss in a row.
