WATCH: Ryan Bader’s Last Light Heavyweight Fight

One of the top champions in Bellator history, Ryan Bader has been lucky to hold both the Bellator Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Titles. Recently, however, we have only seen Bader in heavyweight fights. The last time we saw “Darth” Bader compete in the light heavyweight division? 2017.

Check out the last time Bader (27-5, 1NC) defended his Bellator Light Heavyweight Title: against Linton Vassell at Bellator 186. Bader controlled the first round with his wrestling, using a few lateral tosses to his advantage. The second round was more of the same, with Bader finally getting an opening and pounding at the face of Vassell while on the floor for the TKO win.

Bader was supposed to defend his Bellator Light Heavyweight Title at Bellator 242 against Vadim Nemkov on May 9. The event was postponed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
