WATCH: Tony Ferguson’s UFC Debut

After multiple attempts, Tony Ferguson finally made it to The Ultimate Fighter back in 2011. Making his UFC debut as a welterweight, Ferguson (25-3) won The Ultimate Fighter 13 tournament.

Check out the UFC debut of “El Cucuy”, who was 10-2 prior to the win, and who won three fights to get to the finals. Ferguson avoided heavy shots right away and went for the takedown. While he was getting tagged by Ramsey Nijem, Ferguson managed to take it all in. Like his corner told him to, Ferguson went for the jab and then his a vicious left hook and a right for good measure, knocking Ramsey down for the count.

This fight is set to prepare you for UFC 249, taking place on April 18, in a location TBD. The fight will be Ferguson facing Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC Lightweight Championship.
