WATCH: UFC Fight Island 2 Weigh-In Faceoffs

Earlier today, fighters from the UFC came together for the UFC Fight Island 2 weigh-ins. Unlike last time, both fighters involved in the UFC Flyweight Title fight made weight.

On “Fight Island” on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the main event will be Deiveson Figueiredo v. Joseph Benavidez in a rematch for the vacant title.

Back in February, Benavidez (28-6) and Figueiredo (18-1) were chosen as the flyweight contenders. Henry Cejudo relinquished the title to focus on his UFC Bantamweight Title. Figueiredo entered the fight 2.5 pounds over the flyweight limit and would win the fight via TKO, but would not win the title. Benavidez is now 3-2 in his last five while Figueiredo is on a three-fight win streak.
