Lomachenko is gearing up for his big title unification bout with Teofimo Lopez. Lomachenko is the WBA (Super) and WBO Lightweight Champion, while Lopez holds the IBF gold. Many have called this the most highly-anticipated boxing match of the year.

There is some beef that has been brewing between Lomachenko and Lopez to add to the anticipation. Lopez has said that he feels Lomachenko is beatable and is closer to the end of his boxing career than people think. Lomachenko’s camp believes the trash talk stems from jealousy.

Lomachenko is hoping to become the first man to defeat Lopez. Going into the bout, Lopez has a perfect pro boxing record of 15-0. Lomachenko is 14-1 with his lone loss coming in just his second pro fight against Orlando Salido via split decision.
