WATCH: Vettori And Roberson Get Into An Altercation Following Scrapped Bout

It appears some added drama has been brought to an already-postponed fight.

On the day of Marvin Vettori’s fight with Karl Roberson at UFC Jacksonville, the latter had to back out of the bout due to medical issues related to weigh-ins. Yesterday, Roberson came into the fight at 187.5 pounds, over the middleweight limit of 185. The two were involved in a tense moment during standoffs. Vettori, who has had two fights canceled on him in the past few months, decided to let off some steam.

In the below video, Vettori (14-4-1) went on a (NSFW) rant as he was able to catch up with Roberson (9-2) in the hotel lobby. Matteo Capodaglio, Vettori’s nutritionist,  documented the whole thing on social media. Vettori discussed how he prepared five months for a fight and went on yelling expletives at the former kickboxer.

On a two-fight win streak and 3-1-1 in his last five fights, Vettori was originally set to face off against Darren Stewart at UFC London not that long ago. The event was one of several postponed as a result of the coronavirus.

Roberson is on a two-fight win streak, and 4-2 in his last six fights. It is unknown if the UFC would try and book a fight between the two again.

UFC on ESPN+ 29 takes place from inside the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
