WBSS To Donate 10% Of Alamodome Gate To Harvey Relief

This Saturday night the World Boxing Super Series is holding an event at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas. In an attempt to help those dealing with the aftereffects of Hurricane Harvey, 10% of the events gate will be donated to the San Antonio Food Bank to aid relief efforts.

World Boxing Super Series & Ringstar Sports to Donate 10% of Gate for Saturday’s Dorticos vs. Kudryashov WBSS Quarter-final to San Antonio Food Bank to Aid the Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort.


The CEO of Ringstar Sports, the evening’s co-promoter stated that.

“San Antonio is a fantastic fight city and now fans will have the chance to catch world-class boxing while also helping a great cause…The relief efforts after Hurricane Harvey are ongoing and World Boxing Super Series and Ringstar Sports are proud to be able to help wherever we can. I hope that the tremendous fight fans in San Antonio will show up in full force so that we can raise a lot of money and help a lot of people in need.”

The September 23 event features a cruiserweight fight between, Yunier Dorticos and Dimitry Kuryashov and will l also feature a reserve match between once-beaten cruiserweights Keith Tapia and Lateef Kayode, while former world champion Nonito Donaire returns to take on Mexico’s Ruben Garcia Hernandez.
