Weidman Leads UFC 230 Medical Suspensions
Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman and Ben Saunders would end up with the two longest medical suspensions following their losses at UFC 230.
The New York State Athletic Commission has released their list giving both men 90 day medical suspensions after both were knocked out on November 3rd at Madison Square Garden.
Weidman would be dropped by Ronaldo Souza in the co-main event of the card, while Saunders would fall in the first-round to Lymon Good.
Brian Kelleher would be issues a 30 day suspension from the NYSAC, even though the bantamweight would not compete on the card. Kelleher would be pulled the day prior to the event due to illness after missing weight by one pound at the official weigh-in.
