Weidman Wants Jones At 205

Chris Weidman has set his sights high for his eventual debut at light heavyweight, as the former UFC middleweight champion has called out 205 pound champion Jon Jones.

Speaking with TMZ last weekend, Weidman, who is battling a neck injury, has been imagining of going after Jones since holding the 185 pound crown.

“He’s been on my radar since I was a champion and he was champion at 205. I always imagined going up and taking his belt.”

Jones returns at UFC 235 (if cleared by the Nevada State Athletic Commission) on March 2nd in Las Vegas against Anthony Smith.
