What Are Conor McGregor And Dustin Poirier Planning?
Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier have quite the plan.
Back on September 27, 2014, McGregor and Poirier fought each other on the UFC 178 card. McGregor won the featherweight contest in the first round via TKO. Since that time, the two have traded barbs and pleasantries.
McGregor recently suggested that he and Poirier compete again but this time for charity. McGregor took to his Twitter account to call for a charity event outside of the UFC.

“Hey bro! You want to do an MMA charity fight? Zero to do with the ufc. I will donate half a mill towards your charity for it. Sell it on ppv or work a tv deal and we work out other charities that are close to my heart also. I am engaged in many. Strictly a charity ‘exhibition.’

Poirier responded by saying he’s more than willing to throw down with McGregor for charity.

“I’m in! Lets do it! A lot of people will benefit from this.”
McGregor’s last outing took place back on January 18. He shared the Octagon with Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246. The “Notorious” one emerged victorious via TKO in 40 seconds.
Poirier was seen in action on June 27. He went one-on-one with Dan Hooker in a “Fight of the Year” candidate. After five rounds of back-and-forth action, Poirier was awarded the unanimous decision victory.
