What Are The Viewership Numbers For Ugas vs. Ramos Headliner On FOX?

The viewership numbers for the PBC on FOX event headlined by Yordenis Ugas vs. Abel Ramos are in.

Ugas and Ramos fought for the vacant WBA (Regular) Welterweight Championship. The title fight was held inside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California on September 6. This was the second crack at a major boxing title for Ugas.

Throughout the fight, it was clear that Ugas utilized his jab, often doubling up on the punch. Ramos hung in tough and tried to work the inside game but Ugas showcased solid defense. Ugas did play with fire at the end of the fight, trading shots and getting rocked just before the final bell sounded.

The bout went to the scorecards and it left many fans up in arms, to say the least, although the general consensus is the right fighter won. The problem is one of the judges scored the fight 117-117 in favor of Ramos. The other two judges scored the bout 115-113 in favor of Ugas, who took the split decision victory.

Take a look at the viewership numbers and you will find there is a sizable increase for PBC on FOX when compared to some more recent events. The Ugas vs. Ramos event averaged 1,019,000 viewers according to Nielson Media Research. It peaked at 1,260,000 viewers near the end of the main event.
