What Does Jon Jones Think Of Brock Lesnar’s Free Agency Status?

Former two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has briefly chimed in on Brock Lesnar’s status.

It was revealed by PWInsider that Lesnar is now a free agent after he and WWE were unable to reach a new deal. While some believe that Lesnar is a master negotiator who will get the deal he wants from the top American wrestling promotion, others feel “The Beast” truly is exploring his options. Despite the fact that Lesnar told UFC President Dana White that he’s retired from MMA, it’s likely that the UFC brass would be all ears if Lesnar remains on the market.

“Bones” is well aware of the news and he hopped on Twitter to respond.

“Brock I’ll beatcho ass too.”

Jones called out Lesnar for a mega-fight after his UFC 214 bout with Daniel Cormier. “Bones” soon saw his TKO win over “DC” in their rematch overturned to a No Contest due to a failed drug test. The fight slipped the grasp of Jones, although Lesnar ended up not fighting again and was content with WWE’s schedule. Whether or not he is changing his tune in 2020 remains to be seen.

Lesnar hasn’t stepped inside the Octagon since July 9, 2016. He initially scored a unanimous decision victory over Mark Hunt. That win was changed to a No Contest as Lesnar failed a drug test. Technically speaking, Lesnar hasn’t earned a victory in a pro MMA bout since July 3, 2010.

Still, there’s no denying Lesnar’s drawing ability. His special WWE appearances were relied upon heavily to boost ratings and attendance.
