When Will Errol Spence Jr. Vs. Danny Garcia Reportedly Take Place?
It appears that agreements have been made for one of the biggest fights in boxing to take place before the end of the year.
It was previously reported that IBF and WBC Welterweight Champion Errol Spence Jr. will face off against Danny Garcia. Now, both fighters have seemingly confirmed that the bout will take place on November 21 on FOX PPV.

Spence turned professional in 2012. He beat Kell Brook back in 2017 to win the IBF Welterweight Title. In a Fight of the Year contender in September, “The Truth” won the WBC Welterweight Title from Shawn Porter.
This would be the first fight back for Spence (26-0) since his car accident back in October. Charged with a DUI, Spence wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He suffered lacerations to his face and damage to his teeth. He was expected to face off against Garcia back in January before he was in the accident.
Garcia (36-2) is 3-2 in his last five fights. A former Light-Welterweight Champion, Garcia won the WBC Welterweight Title in 2016 against Robert Guerrero. He lost the title when facing Keith Thurman and ended up losing to Porter for the vacant title a year later. “Swift” beat Adrian Granados via TKO in April 2019 and recently beat Ivan Redkach via unanimous decision back in January.
While no venue was officially announced, the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles has been a rumored location. A fight inside the Mohegan Sun Arena is also an option.
