Where To Watch: Canelo Alvarez Vs. Caleb Plant Tonight
Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant are hours away from settling a tense rivalry.
Alvarez (56-1, 38 KOs) and Plant (21-0, 12 KOs) will go to war on Saturday, November 6 for the undisputed super-middleweight world championship for 12 rounds.
Each boxer has something on the line.
Alvarez holds the WBC, WBA and WBO world super middleweight belts while Plant claims the final one – the IBF title. One fighter will go home with all four unified 168-pound belts while the other will be empty handed.
Plant is also risking his unscathed 21 fight winning streak when he meets Alvarez, who is arguably the pound-for-pound boxer of the world.
Alvarez has one loss in his storied career, and that was handed by legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Ever since the November 6 matchup was announced, Alvarez and Plant have made it clear there’s bad blood between the two, especially when Alvarez caught Plant with a solid right hand at a pre-fight press conference, cutting the bottom of Plant’s right eye.
