Where To Watch: Canelo Alvarez Vs. Dmitry Bivol Tonight
Canelo Alvarez is returning to the light heavyweight division.
And he’s doing so against WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol in the main event Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Alvarez is coming off a dominant win over Caleb Plant, who he technically knocked out in the 11th round in November, and became the undisputed middleweight champion.
This will be his second fight at the 175-pound limit. The first time was against Sergey Kovalev, who he also stopped in the 11th round in 2019. He won that WBO title and later vacated it.
Bivol was elevated to WBA light heavyweight champion in 2019 and has made three successful defenses since then. He last stopped Umar Salamov by unanimous decision in December 2021.
