Where To Watch: Canelo Alvarez Vs. Gennadiy Golovkin III Tonight
It’s taken four years to get back here.
Canelo Alvarez and Gennadiy Golovkin will meet for the third time for the undisputed super middleweight championship at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The location is nothing new.
The T-Mobile Arena was the scene of their first fight in September 2017, which ended in a split draw, though fans had thought that Golovkin did enough to hand Alvarez the upset loss.
The rematch happened one year later, in September 2018, but it was Alvarez who walked away with a majority decision win.
Alvarez became the first undisputed super middleweight champion when he defeated Caleb Plant in November, but his superiority became questioned when he lost to WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol in May.
Golovkin last defeated Ryoto Murata by ninth-round TKO for the WBA (super) middleweight title. He now seeks revenge.
