Where To Watch: Juliana Velasquez Vs. Liz Carmouche Tonight
Bellator is back in Hawaii.
In the first of two Bellator events this weekend, the women’s flyweight title is at stake between Juliana Velasquez and Liz Carmouche. Velasquez will be making her second defense.
Velasquez has yet to lose in her MMA career. In Bellator, she’s won all seven of her fights. She gained the title against Ilima-Lei Macfarlane in December 2020 by unanimous decision and successfully defended it against Denise Kielholtz in July by split decision.
Carmouche is arguably most known for being in the first women’s UFC main event when she fought Ronda Rousey at UFC 157 in February 2013. She is now 3-0 in Bellator.
