Where To Watch: Shakur Stevenson Vs. Robson Conceicao Tonight

Shakur Stevenson made headlines on Thursday after missing weight by nearly two pounds, but the show will still go on.

Stevenson will take on Robson Conceicao in the main event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey – Stevenson’s hometown. Only now, the 25-year-old will not be defending his WBC and WBO super featherweight titles as he was forced to vacate them for not meeting contractual obligations. Conceicao, however, can still fight for the titles, since he made weight.

Stevenson became a unified champion in his last contest against Oscar Valdez, which he won by unanimous decision. The Newark native told FIGHT SPORTS on Wednesday that that was the best moment in his career yet.

Valdez is now in the lightweight division, which Stevenson said he’ll be heading next.

Conceicao is coming off of a notable win against Xavier Martinez after a controversial loss to Valdez in 2021.
