White: Bisping-GSP Is On
Just days after stating that the “ship had sailed” on the fight, UFC President Dana White announced during the UFC 214 post-fight press conference that a UFC middleweight championship bout between Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre is back on and official.
It was originally expected that UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley would get GSP with a victory over Demian Maia at UFC 214. That happened, however, White changed his mind reportedly because of the negative reception of said title fight.
MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani reports that Bisping-GSP will take place on Nov. 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Confirmed with sources that Bisping vs GSP has been agreed to for MSG on 11/4. Should be signed in the coming days.

GSP hasn’t competed in an MMA bout since successfully retaining the UFC welterweight title against Johny Hendricks in Nov. 2013.
As for Woodley, a rematch with Robbie Lawler is now expected.
