Who Will Be In Anthony Joshua’s Camp For Kubrat Pulev Fight?

Anthony Joshua will be bringing a surging heavyweight back to his training camp.

Joshua is expected to collide with Kubrat Pulev on December 12. “AJ” would be defending his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO Heavyweight Titles. Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn is hoping to get the fight inside the O2 Arena in London, England with fans in attendance.

During an interview with Sky Sports, Hearn revealed that Joshua is bringing Joe Joyce back to his training camp to prepare for Pulev.

“There’ve been many bruising sessions over the years. Joe has been around for many years on the amateur scene. When AJ was coming through, Joe was one of the experienced guys and some of their spars have been fantastic. Obviously, AJ went to another level, but Joe is still an outstanding heavyweight.”

Joyce is expected to take on Daniel Dubois next, the holdup is that neither party wants to take a pay cut. In order to ensure that doesn’t happen, fans must be in attendance so that there can be a live gate. Otherwise, the cost would be too much to swallow without giving both Joyce and Dubois pay cuts. It boils down to when the Government of the United Kingdom will feel comfortable enough to allow fans inside arenas again.
