Who Will Fill The Seats On The White House South Lawn For UFC Freedom 250?

UFC CEO Dana White provided a breakdown of who will occupy the 4,000 seats on the South Lawn of the White House for the White House card on June 14.

White confirmed that he and President Trump will be responsible for assigning 200 tickets to their respective guests. 84 guests will be granted access to a VIP reception inside the White House before the main card begins. White reiterated that the vast majority of remaining tickets will be distributed directly to U.S. military personnel and their families. An extra $1 million in post-fight bonuses will also be on the table, representing the largest bonus is UFC history.

Elsewhere, The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed that the June 14 UFC White House card and its accompanying Fan Festival have been designated as Level 1 Special Event Assessment Rating (SEAR 1) events.

This classification places the June 14 event in the same security tier as the Super Bowl, the Rose Bowl, and the Chicago Marathon. The SEAR system (ranked 1 to 5) determines the scale of federal resources allocated to major public events. A SEAR 1 rating is reserved for events of “significant national or international importance.”

Implications

• There will be assistance from federal partners, including the U.S. Secret Service, FBI, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

• There will be a visible presence, including explosive detection canine teams, cyber risk assessments, venue screening, and air security operations.

• A temporary flight restriction (TFR) will be enforced over the South Lawn and the Ellipse.
