Whyte Claims He’d Have Slapped Miller
If Dillian Whyte was standing in place of Anthony Joshua last week when Jarrell Miller confronted Joshua at the DAZN Press event in New York, there would have been more than shoving.
Miller would arrive late to the press event, and interrupt the face to face between Joshua and his opponent Alexander Povetkin, leading to a very tense confrontation between the two.
According to Whyte, who fights Joseph Parker on July 28th, he had no problem with Miller confronting Joshua, but took offense at the Brooklyn native pointing attacks at Joshua’s mother.
“I thought it was good that he went up and shouted at [Joshua] as he is looking for a opportunity and looking for a fight, Whyte said during fight week.
“When you are ‘the man’ you have to expect these things, but what he said about his mum is not on and I would have smacked him there and then. I would have smacked him right there with a three-piece combo and kick him in the n***s.”
