Wilder Calls Whyte Hearn’s “Distraction”
Deontay Wilder has continued his war against Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua, claiming that they are using fellow Matchroom fighter Dilian Whyte as a distraction.
Following Whyte’s statement win against Lucas Browne on March 24th, Wilder went on Instagram to make that point crystal clear.
bronzebomber@dillianwhyte Now tell mi everything, him can’t understan wi now❗️Suh wah yaah dud? Wah did #blueeyedYesus promise dis time mi bredren…

While nothing is certain until the final bell at Principality Stadium this weekend, Whyte may still have to wait as reported by World Boxing News, the WBC could slot Dominic Breazeale as the mandatory challenger.
And even with Breazeale, he may take a backseat to a unification fight, as WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman made it clear that unification overrides any mandatory challenge.
For now, nothing is decided, but Wilder is making sure everyone knows where he stands, and setting Hearn and Joshua up for a potential PR problem if they don’t square away a date with the “Bronze bomber.”
