Deontay Wilder is on his way to Belfast to confront his next opponent, he told TMZ that he’s done trying to negotiate with Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn.
Wilder was asked by TMZ cameras that Joshua has lied about wanting to fight Joshua in a highly anticipated unification fight, which has been stuck in negotiations since earlier this year. Joshua is now set to fight Alexander Povetkin on September 22nd, while Wilder is going to confront Tyson Fury, as the two may face off in November in Las Vegas..
“These guys have lied about so much stuff it’s crazy,” Wilder said about Joshua and Hearn.
“Everyone knows who tried to make the fight, who really wanted to fight. A blind man could see the situation with this, and we’re done with it.”
Hearn and Joshua have been calling for an April 22nd showdown with Wilder at Wembley Stadium, but both sides have continued to snipe at each other and make negotiations seemingly impossible.
