Wilder Reportedly Arrested Over Hidden Firearm As Andrew Tate Reacts

Ex-WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder was reportedly taken into custody on May 2nd, 2023, for carrying a hidden firearm.

According to TMZ, the police pulled over Wilder in Hollywood due to his Rolls Royce having the following: tinted windows and an obstructed license plate.

Additionally, the officers claimed to have smelled marijuana and discovered a 9mm firearm during the stop.

Reports indicate that Wilder was apprehended at 1:15 a.m. by the Los Angeles Police Department for approximately five hours. During that process, he was allegedly released on bail, amounting to $35,000.

With that being said, Wilder took to social media to comment on the ordeal.

The news is crucial in light of reports that Wilder and Anthony Joshua may face each other in a mega fight in Saudi Arabia at the back end of the year.

Therefore, boxing fans were glad to see the American out of harm’s way.
