Wilder Sends A Message To Ruiz Over A Potential Fight – ‘Get This Thing Done’
Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr. could be a step closer to fighting each other as they traded words on social media.
According to reports, the former heavyweight champions are in talks for a fight that would take place in August or September.
And as part of that process, Wilder’s trainer, Malik Scott, confirmed that Ruiz Jr. had been given a massive offer as the latter responded.
“Wilder, we’re coming man, we’re just negotiating right now,” Ruiz Jr.
With that being said, Wilder put the pressure on Ruiz to accept the offer.
“Hey Andy. It’s time up for the games now buddy. I don’t have no more time to wait on you and this situation. We’ve offered you a lot of money and I think you should take it.
“The one thing I don’t want you to do though is allow others to dictate your career at this moment in time.
“You only have a limited time left to make as much money as you possibly can. Don’t allow others to interfere with this, you make the decision.
“It wouldn’t be fair to your or your kids for you to miss out on zeros because you allow others to interfere with your career at this moment in time. So think about it bro. Let’s get this thing done, get it signed sealed and delivered.
“I’m sick and tired of sitting around man. Let’s give the people what they’re asking for and what they want. Enough is enough. The ball’s in your court now, baby. Let’s get it. I’ll see you soon man,” Wilder
Victory for both fighters would rejuvenate their career following their recent setbacks.
Ruiz Jr. is looking to get back to the top of the division after having been the unified heavyweight champion when he beat Anthony Joshua, only to lose the belts in the rematch.
Meanwhile, Wilder knows that victory keeps his hopes alive of a mega clash with Joshua in Saudi Arabia as he seeks to regain another world title after having lost his WBC belt to Tyson Fury.

Deontay is right. Ruiz has had the AJ payday. I doubt we will ever see AJ vs Ruiz III. Fury vs Ruiz was tried recently, didn't happen. This is Ruiz's biggest payday available right now. May as well take it, or what is next, a much less payday against a smaller name.
