Co-Main Event: Caleb Plant defeats Anthony Dirrell via Knockout– WBC Super Middleweight title eliminator
The fight between the two middleweights was slow but eventually started to heat up in the 5th and 6th rounds. After multiple rounds of deliberate feinting, clinching and dodging, Plant lands a devastating left hook that knocks Dirrell out cold in the 9th round, leaving him on the ground and winded for well over two minutes. It was a shocking conclusion to a fight that many in the crowd seemed to have already checked out of. This brings Plant right to the front of the line in the WBC middleweight championship match.

Frank Sánchez defeats Carlos Negrón via Technical Knockout – Heavyweight Exhibition
The undefeated, Cuban-born Sánchez was rocking Negrón with a flurry of fierce jabs and hooks throughout the fight. By the 6th round, Negron was visibly battered and bloodied from Sánchez’s onslaught. Negrón did not shy away from the challenge, returning with a devastating hook that flattened Sánchez in the 7th round for only but a moment. This small victory for the Puerto Rican fighter would not last however, as Sánchez would throw a hook that drops Negrón, followed by a barrage that clinches the victory for Sánchez with a TKO in the 9th round.

Emmanuel Rodriguez defeats Gary Antonio Russell via Technical Decision (100-90, 99-91, 97-93) – IBF World Bantamweight Title Eliminator
This is a long anticipated rematch between the two bantamweights after their bout in August 2021 was called off due to the two headbutting within 16 seconds of the 1st round. After a stunning right hand from Rodriguez knocks down Russell in the 8th round, Russell returns with a nasty headbutt that knocks Rodriguez to the floor and abruptly pauses the 9th round. The 10th and final round begins and is soon disrupted in just 2 seconds when Rodriguez is examined for a possible injury. The fight was called off, again, concluding with a decided victory for Rodriguez and bringing their rematch to an ironic close.
