Will Max Holloway agree to fight Korean Zombie after call out?
Max Holloway is currently preparing to take on Yair Rodriguez but the UFC fans might have already figured out who he will face next. Holloway (22-6) was scheduled to take on Rodriguez (13-2) on July 19, but the fight was put off after the Blessed suffered an undisclosed injury.
It is well-known to every featherweight that the money fight in the division is against the former champion. Hence, Chan Sung Jung took the matter into his hands to call out Holloway after his win over Dan Ige.
The Korean Zombie joked that Holloway is not as good of a striker as he claims to be and that is something he will prove when they will face off in the octagon.
While Korean Zombie is eager to take on the Hawaii-born fighter, Holloway hasn’t yet responded to the offer. With no history of bad blood between the two juggernauts of the UFC, there could be a new rivalry brewing in the division. It is to be noted that both fighters have never faced each other before.
Moreover, the Korean Zombie’s shoulder injury bars him from competing in the next six months. So, a Holloway-Jung masterclass is likely to be held next year.
