Williams-Rosario Official for Jan. 18

Julian Williams’ first defense of the WBA (Super) and IBF super welterweight titles is now set.

Williams will face Jeison Rosario in the main event of a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) card in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Williams claimed the WBA and IBF titles with an upset win over Jarrett Hurd in May. Williams and Hurd appeared to be on track for a December 14 rematch, but Hurd withdrew from the plans for unknown reasons.

Rosario will enter this fight with five straight wins and unbeaten in his last eight. He most recently competed in April, scoring a split decision over Jorge Cota.
