Wiz Khalifa Discusses MMA Training For The First Time In Five Years

Caribbean rapper-singer Wiz Khalifa has shown a passion for mixed martial arts as he sat down with Logan Paul to discuss his current journey.

Khalifa has gained worldwide recognition in the music industry. The song “See You Again” from Fast and the Furious 7 remains one of the most-watched YouTube videos in recent times.

At the time of its release, it became one of the most popular songs in the industry.

However, it looks like the rapper wants to experience a similar fate in the MMA.

“I’ve been training for like five years now. I don’t know, I f–k with it, it’s just fun,” he said via Sportskeeda.

“It’s cool to learn new sh-t. I think the older you get, you just get into different things like your body just tells you what’s cool and what’s not cool. I started lifting and I went to Unbreakable with Jay Glazer and just naturally they just put me on this program. I’m kind of just open for whatever. Jiu-jitsu, wrestling, striking, it’s whatever, if you want to teach me some sh-t, I’m down to learn.”

For many years, martial arts training has been used by numerous athletes to either pick a fight or improve their physical condition.

Since UFC has come to the scene, we have seen numerous people joining MMA training. Even if those individuals never choose to compete professionally, there are benefits that they can get from MMA training.

Several times, people will start MMA training to be in better shape for an upcoming movie or film. However, there are people who want to enjoy this lifestyle even when they don’t go shooting. Khalifa wants to be that man as he seeks to find passion in MMA.

The rapper most recently performed at the 2022 PFL World Championships on November 25 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
