Woodley Breaks Down How Mayweather Wins In UFC

As Floyd Mayweather prepares for an alleged debut in the UFC,  UFC Welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley claims he has the strategy for victory.

Woodley, who volunteered his services to Mayweather claims that all Mayweather would need to do is learn to stuff the takedown, and learn proper defense.

“(If Mayweather can) eliminate all different martial arts, he forces an opponent to fight a stand-up fight with him, what fighter in the UFC is going to outbox Floyd?” explained Woodley.

“”At the beginning of every round, how does the fight start? Standing up. I have to teach him how to keep it there,” he continued.

“I think three or four months training just to make people go out there and fight a stand-up fight, six to eight months if he wants to go out there and start throwing kicks and takedowns.”

The three to four month time-frame, is much more generous than the six t0 eight month timeline set by Mayweather last week. Either timeline is much shorter than many people in the world of sports thought when Mayweather retired in August, as the idea of him stepping into the Octagon was a fantasy.
