Woodley Calls Out Nate Diaz For UFC 219

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is negotiating an Octagon return for UFC 219, and has made Nate Diaz his target.

In an interview with ESPN, Woodley claimed that….

“If Nate wants to go UFC 219, I’m ready.”

Diaz is no stranger to the 170-pound weight class, and has allegedly been training for a comeback at UFC 219, and while it is not official in any way, this may be the fight to watch in UFC’s final event of 2017,

Woodley would be in his first fight since what may call a boring unanimous decision win Demian Maia at UFC 214, and his first title defense since two fights against Stephen Thompson. Diaz was last seen in November of 2016 in a decision loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 202.
