Woodley Frustrated In Pursuit Of Pacquiao Boxing Match

Tyron Woodley is becoming frustrated in his attempts to box Manny Pacquiao.

Woodley has had two boxing bouts in his career, both against Jake Paul. In the first fight, he lost a split decision in 2021. The rematch occurred in the same year, but Woodley was knocked out in the sixth round. That continued a poor run of form in all combat sports, as Woodley suffered four UFC losses in a row before taking the Paul fights.

Pacquiao has not had a pro boxing fight since his 2021 loss against Yordenis Ugas. Since his retirement, he has had one exhibition, beating DK Yoo via a unanimous decision. He was on course to face Mauy Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek in April, but the fight has now been postponed.

The Filipino has also been linked with fights against Floyd Mayweather and Conor Benn. Pacman announced the rematch with Mayweather at a RIZN 45 event, only for Mayweather to downplay those comments. Eddie Hearn also confirmed talks were underway for a Pacquiao vs Benn fight. But so far, no agreement has been made. Woodley announced previously that he was boxing Manny this year.

No agreement has been made, leaving Woodley frustrated.

“@mannypacquiao we been f***ing around with these numbers for two months. Are we fighting or what!? You acting like Floyd and KSI! [Capitalizing] on Clout, SMH.”
