“Yeah, I Would Like To See Him Retire” – Dana White On Tony Ferguson

Dana White has once again voiced his hopes that Tony Ferguson will end his time with the UFC after his upcoming bout.

Despite a 7-fight losing streak, Ferguson remains a favorite in the MMA community based on his memorable 12-1 run in the UFC between 2013 and 2019.

Now,  “El Cucuy” has another fight booked versus Michael Chiesa this August, and many are echoing the CEO’s sentiment in that regardless of the result, this should be the end for Ferguson.

“Yeah, I hope so,” White told MMA Junkie and other reporters at the UFC 302 post-fight news conference earlier this month in Newark, N.J. “Yeah. I would like to see him retire.”

Prior to his UFC debut, Ferguson was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter season 13 in 2011. He went undefeated on the reality series, registering stoppages in 5 out of 6 appearances.
