Unified junior middleweight champion Xander Zayas (23-0, 13 KOs) will defend his titles against Jaron Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs) on June 27, 2026, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Zayas captured the vacant WBO strap last July with a win against Jorge Garcia. On January 31, 2026, Zayas traveled to San Juan to beat Abass Baraou to unify and add the WBO belt. For Ennis, this fight represents a chance to become a two-weight champion. “Boots” made the jump to 154 lbs in October 2025 after unifying at 147. He stopped Uisma Lima in under two minutes last October in his 154 debut. After failing to get the Vergil Ortiz fight, he will now face Zayas.
