A New Challenger Approaches For Jones
After withstanding Thiago Santos at UFC 239 and Luke Rockhold getting his clock cleaned at the same event, Jon Jones has no clear challenger for the light heavyweight title.
That is unless you talk to Jan Blachowicz, who is the one who dry-cleaned Rockhold in his first fight at 205 pounds is calling for a fight with the champion, first posting a fan-made photo to Instagram, then posting a tweet calling out Jones.
“I’m not a Twitter keyboard warrior, don’t have [one million] Instagram fans,” Blachowicz said on Twitter.
I'm not a Twitter keyboard warrior, don't have 1mln Insta fans, I don't drive a sports car with a gold chain around my neck…but I AM one of the TOP guys in my div. and thru my honest & hard work I'VE EARNED a TS. I guarantee you a show worthy of #UFC #JonnyBones – Here and NOW!

Even though Jones is open to having a rematch with Santos after his impressive title shot at UFC 239, Santos suffered numerous knee injuries that will keep him out of the Octagon until early 2020.
No plans can be made for Jones’ future until after UFC 241 when rival Daniel Cormier defends against Stipe Miocic. A win by Cormier can lead to a trilogy fight between Jones and him, but Cormier will only take it at light heavyweight.
