Isaac Cruz (28-3-2, 18 KOs) is scheduled to return against Nestor Bravo (24-1, 17 KOs) in a 140-pound fight on September 19, with San Diego and Arizona under consideration as destinations.
It’s Cruz’s first fight since starting with trainer Eddy Reynoso and comes off a draw with Lamont Roach Jr. Bravo, 32, is unranked in the top 15 by any major sanctioning body and has faced only one widely recognized opponent in 11 years as a pro — a 2025 split-decision loss to Xolisani Ndongeni, followed by a win over Pedro Campa in January. With Dalton Smith holding the full WBC title, the fight keeps Cruz active while he waits for a title opportunity.
