Budd Tops Bellator 238 Salaries

While Cris Cyborg walked away a winner on fight night, former Bellator featherweight champion Julia Budd walked away with a winning bank account, out-earning Cyborg at Bellator 238.

In terms of salary, Budd walked out with $350,000 while Cyborg walked out with only $250,000 for her stoppage win over the former champion inside The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Cyborg took home double what she made in her win than what she made losing to Amanda Nunes at UFc 232, but this may not be all what the former UFC champion made on Saturday night, as bonuses and incentives in her contract can make her deal with the CBSViacom owned company the biggest deal in MMA history.

The numbers released by the California State Athletic Commission does not represent fighter’s full pay, it only discloses the salary paid for the fight itself, and not certain sponsorship income, post-fight bonuses or pay-per-view bonuses, which may not be applicable for a DAZN broadcasted card.
