Clark’s Home Robbed Three Days Before VanZant Fight
With the biggest fight of her career just days away, Jessica-Rose Clark’s focus has shifted from Paige VanZant, to her home being robbed and her roommate’s cat injured to the point of having to be euthanized.
Clark tweeted Thursday that her home in Las Vegas was broken into, with many of her things were stolen. Worse still, she wrote that the people that robbed her attacked Clark’s and her roommates’ pet cat, which will have to be “put down.”
An Australia native, Clark is in Missouri for UFC St. Louis, for her fight against VanZant in the co-main event.
Clark made her UFC debut at UFC Sydney in November, and a victory over VanZant would give her a leg up in the UFC’s developing women’s flyweight division. Clark, 30, is a veteran of Invicta FC and Titan FC.
Unfortunately for Clark, she will have to deal with the mental burden of not only fight week and a weight cut, but the theft of televisions, guitars, DVDs, video games, and the death of a pet The alleged thieves were three people, including a “small female with her hair in a bun” and reddish-blonde hair and two men, Clark tweeted. They were driving a white sedan and possibly a gray truck.
