Does Artur Beterbiev vs. Adam Deines Have A New Date?

Artur Beterbiev vs. Adam Deines lost its original date but there’s some good news.

Beterbiev and Deines were set to share the boxing ring on October 23. Things went south after Beterbiev suffered a rib injury during training. The bout had to be pushed back but a new date wasn’t immediately determined.

BoxingScene.com reports that Beterbiev vs. Deines is being rescheduled for December 11. The report notes that Beterbiev vs. Deines will be held inside the CSKA Arena in Moscow, Russia. The bout is set to air either on the major ESPN network or ESPN+ in the United States.

A light-heavyweight title elimination bout between Maxim Vlasov and Umar Salamov was initially going to be the co-main event of the Beterbiev vs. Deines card. That bout will not be held on December 11. In fact, it’s been said that the fight will instead take place on a card that hasn’t been announced before Beterbiev vs. Deines.

Beterbiev has amassed a perfect pro boxing record of 15-0. All 15 of those victories have come by way of knockout. Deines has emerged victorious in his last two outings. His pro boxing record stands at 19-1-1. He’s nabbed 10 knockouts along the way and hasn’t lost since June 1, 2019. He’s hoping to pick up the biggest win of his pro boxing career.
