Harrison: I’ll “Be Better Than Khabib”
Kayla Harrison’s quest to become the first PFL women’s lightweight champion will continue, as the former two-time Olympic gold medalist too a first round submission win at PFL 4.
Harrison wasted no time on Thursday night, locking Morgan Frier in a key lock, giving her six points and the second seed in the PFL’s playoff bracket.

“I really wish I would have kept it on my feet a little longer but my instincts take over, it is something I’m working on,” Harrison said post fight.
“The submission was probably there earlier in the round but I really like hitting people since I was never allowed to in Judo. I’m going to be the best, I’m going to be even better than Khabib (Nurmagomedov) when I am done.”
In the card’s main event, Magomed Magomedkerimov went the distance and earned a win over Chris Curtis via unanimous decision.

In a fight earlier in the card, Genah Fabian earned her spot in the playoffs against Harrison with a devastating left hook KO against Moriel Charneski.
