Hendricks Misses Weight Again, Hits Scale at 173.5
At the official weigh-ins ahead of UFC 207 in Las Vegas, Johny Hendricks was one of the last fighters to weigh in and he was over two pounds over the welterweight limit. The former champion tipped the scales at 173.5, making this the second consecutive fight that he has missed weight for.

Hendricks appeared gaunt stepping on the scales, as he did during yesterday’s media day. Making weight has been a consistent issue for the former welterweight champ: Last year he withdrew from a fight with Tyron Woodley after being hospitalized due to his weight cut. At UFC 200 in July, Hendricks weighed in .4 lbs. over the welterweight limit ahead of his fight with Kelvin Gastelum. Hendricks lost that fight by unanimous decision.
Hendricks will forfeit 20% of his purse to his opponent Neil Magny, assuming Magny wants to proceed with the UFC 207 matchup.
Whether or not Hendricks wins on Friday night, it is likely that he will be done with the welterweight division.
Flyweight Ray Borg also missed weight, hitting the scales at 129.5 ahead of his fight with Louis Smolka.
Ronda Rousey was the first fighter to weigh in, hitting 135 lbs on the dot and then quickly exiting the stage.
