Henry Cejudo’s Next Targeted Boxing Match

Henry Cejudo (16-6) says he is not letting go of a fight with Nurideen “Deen The Great” Shabazz, who was originally scheduled to face him before withdrawing with an injury and being replaced by Javon Walton.

Cejudo defeated Walton by split decision in the Misfits Boxing main event in Miami, earning his first professional boxing victory.

“First and foremost, I think Deen ‘The Duck’ owes me a fcking fight. That’s what he does, and it’s time for me to put that duck to sleep. He needs to show up, and we have to throw down because that was the original plan. If he can’t do that, then just stream; don’t talk your sht,” Cejudo said.

Cejudo has remained active since retiring from professional MMA competition, competing in Real American Freestyle before making his Misfits Boxing debut.

Shabazz lost a unanimous decision to Amado Vargas in December 2025. The bout was classified as an exhibition and does not count toward his professional boxing record.

Shabazz has not announced whether he plans to rebook the fight with Cejudo.

Also on the Miami card, Tony Ferguson stopped Mahmoud Sebie in the second round to retain his Misfits middleweight title.
