Big Show in Colombia coming Up
The WMC is sanctioning an upcoming event in Medelin with a SOLID fight card
Golden King Promotions has released a little information on what looks to be a solid fight card for their upcoming event in Medelin, Columbia on October 8th 2022.
The event is bound to go down in the history books as one of the greatest on this part of the globe, and is one of the biggest fight cards under the WMC banner so far this year. The event has a line-up of some of the sport’s biggest names. The main card is preceded by a stellar under card of up-and-coming fighters from the Pan American region.
The main event of the evening is none other than Thailand’s own Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, who will take on the extremely experienced Youssef Boughanem. Boughanem is a several times WBC Muay Thai world champion, and he beat ONE Championship fighter Niclas Larsen earlier this year. This is the second time Klinmee and Boughanem squares off. The pair faced each other in 2020 at THAI FIGHT with Boughanem taking the win. Sudsakorn is hoping to redeem himself with a win for Thailand and to restore his pride. It’s not going to be an easy night for either of the warriors.
Another banger on the card, is the fight for the vacant WMC Super Heavyweight World Title between Lyndon Knowles, current WBC Muay Thai Heavyweight World Champion, and Uku Jurjendal from Estonia. Knowles hails from the famous The Knowlesy Academy in the UK, and he has been real busy in 2022, winning the WBC Muay Thai World Heavyweight strap only a few months ago.
This is going to be an explosion of a fight, with two heavy athletes going at each other for five rounds with all the good stuff: knees, elbows, punches, kicks, clinching and dumps.
The complete fight card will be released real soon, with a WMC Intercontinental title fight and two Bolivarian titles on the card – FIGHT SPORTS will keep you updated so make sure to visit regularly.
