Jon Jones Continues To Taunt Liddell
In a week where Chuck Liddell stated his intentions to return to fighting, he named Jon Jones as a person he’d want to fight.
Jones, who had his license revoked earlier this year after failing a drug test at UFC 214, has decided to take shots at the “Iceman.” Jones would go as far as to offer to fly Liddell out to fight that week in New Mexico.
And while Liddell has shifted his focus to a potential trilogy fight with Tito Ortiz, Jones has decided to dedicate his free time to trolling the 48 year old on Twitter.
@ChuckLiddell Brother I don’t have to be retired to be a legend first of all. And you talking to me about conducting my life outside the cage is just hysterical. Chuck we all know you’re far from innocent.

Liddell mentioned that he would not only teach Jones “the right way to fight,” but also implied he would knock out the former UFC light heavyweight champion in a fight. Jones took that as a personal affront, and would reference Liddell’s five losses in his last six fights.
@ChuckLiddell and as far as you teaching me how to “really fight” pic.twitter.com/ygzcDsBwMf

While this fight is highly unlikely to happen, Jones was appreciative of the offer, and got in a subtle dig at Liddell’s age.
In all seriousness @ChuckLiddell I appreciate your offer for a fight, but due to scheduling conflicts may not be able to fulfill till mid 2019 .
In the Upcoming months I have similarly lethal opponents in Ric Flair and George Foreman awaiting .— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) May 15, 2018
