BJPenn’s Chris Taylor was the first to report the pairing.

If all goes according to the reported plan, the fight will take place on February 8 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, headlining UFC 247.
This would mark Jones’ third title defense since regaining the UFC light heavyweight title by defeating Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232. Jones earned a unanimous decision win over Anthony Smith at UFC 235 and Thiago Santos at UFC 239.
Dominick Reyes is unbeaten at 12-0 (6-0 in the UFC), most recently defeating former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman at UFC Boston last month.
