Joshua Will Invoke Rematch Clause Against Ruiz Jr.
On Sunday morning, Anthony Joshua claimed all he wanted to do was look forward, and on Tuesday, his next step was announced by promoter Eddie Hearn.
After meetings with AJ, Rob Mc and the management team in NY, we have today triggered the contracted rematch clause with Andy Ruiz Jnr. The fight will take place in Nov/Dec at a venue to be confirmed shortly.

“After meetings with Anthony Joshua, RobMc(Cracken) and the management team in NY, we have today triggered the contracted rematch clause with Andy Ruiz Jnr.,” Hearn Tweeted.
“The fight will take place in November/December at a venue to be confirmed shortly.”
Ruiz Jr. shocked the world on June 1st, when he would gain a TKO stoppage in the seventh round of Joshua’s much-anticipated United States debut inside Madison Square Garden.
Addressing the press on Sunday morning, Joshua made it clear he would not be mourning his first loss as a professional, and instead focusing on the what is next for him, and looking for the biggest opportunities available.
